1948 Tazio Nuvolari signed Letter with envelope.
What a fantastic piece this is!
Apparently, Tazio was doing very well in the immediate post-war era as apparently he had lend a sum of money to a Mr. Pighi in Castel d'Ario (a village some 11 miles from Tazio's home in Mantova, Italy) and apparently the legal interest rate had been raised on December 23, 1947 and on January 30, 1948 Tazio sent this letter (registered with return receipt!) to Mr. Pighi informing him that he will be held to pay the increased interest rate.
Tazio signed it in full in black ink.
It is in excellent condition and comes complete with the original envelope.
Only 1 available of course as every autographed item is unique and we provide a Certificate of Authenticity with it which guarantees that this is a genuine signature.

Original August 1953 issue of la Domenica del Corriere on the death of Tazio Nuvolari.
This is a complete vintage August 23, 1953 issue of "La Domenica del Corriere" with great artwork of "Nuvola" on the front cover.
Nuvolari achieved his greatest successes driving for Enzo Ferrari in the pre-WWII Scuderia Ferrari, racing mainly Alfa Romeo cars. He is by many considered to be the best driver of all time, beating Michael Schumacher and Ayrton Senna by FAR...
This cover is also sold as a modern print but here you have the opportunity to acquire a 1953 vintage original.
It is in good condition but the (rope!) binding is extremely fragile and a number of pages have come loose as a consequence. This would make this copy extremely well suited to have the great cover framed.
It measures some 29 x 40 cm or 11.5 x 16 inches.
The inside contains a 1-page article on Nuvolari which is captioned (freely translated) "The man who knew no fear. The interesting life of Tazio Nuvolari".
